Lake Kariba

This weekend we went camping on the beautiful lake Kariba. Our campsite was right were all of the zebras chose to come, so for both nights they were grazing all around our tents. Also we were close enough to the water to see all of the comings and goings of the locals in their wooden canoes. I added a lot of images on this post, so I suggest you click the post to see the rest of them.

We got some great sunset pictures on our first day where you can really see the bay that we stayed in.

The camp that we stayed at also had a floating pool that is made with a cage underneath to keep out the crocodiles and hippos. It was still a bit disconcerting to be that close to crocodiles. But it was fun to get a chance to swim out in the lake.
